Family Camp is for Scouts of all ages and their families! Have fun exploring classic Scouting activities in an overnight camp.
There’s a special patch available for those campers brave enough to start their day with a dip in the icy pool. A great way to wake up in the morning – brrr!

Learn how to shoot a bow and arrow. Earn the level 1 shooting sports award. Parents and siblings are welcome to shoot too!
Watch a bobber and drown a worm! Learn how to cast and bait a hook at the Lakefront.
Learn about the animals you might find at Camp Augustine. See tracks, furs, and what the animals leave behind. Even make your own edible animal scat!
Learn how to shoot a rifle from bench and prone positions. Earn the level 1 shooting sports award. Parents and siblings are welcome to shoot too!
Learn and practice useful knots and lashings. Learn how to build a shelter or even simple camp furniture.
Take a walk around camp and see animals in and on the Platte River. If you’re quiet in the woods, you might even see the camp’s deer or turkeys.
A Scout is Reverent. Live the Scout Law with a Scout’s Own Service
Show your patriotism and respect for Old Glory. You might even be part of the Color Guard.
